Transformational Giving- in St Bart Room
Wally Martinson
Does it feel discouraging when you look at your budget and think about what you need to do to raise funds? Does fundraising feel like begging or arm-twisting?
What if there was a different way of doing this - where raising funds becomes part of your ministry, helping givers know, love, and serve God more fully? What if you could experience fundraising as a joyful calling as you lead givers to find their place in God’s work? When fundraising is treated as a form of ministry, not something auxiliary to the ministry of the organization, it can be rewarding and life-giving.
This workshop will take Biblical truths and weave them into practical applications for effective, life giving fundraising for you and your team. Learn how to grow the quality and impact of your organization and not lose your soul in the process!

Why Can't They Pull It Together? - in Main Room
Christie Mac Segars
While we are often serving in this ministry because of our heart for vulnerable children and their families, it is still difficult to not grow frustrated with the biological families or to know best how to help them progress in their goals. We can see the children as children from trauma and be compassionate and flexible in our approaches, but we can easily forget the bio families are typically children from trauma who have not fully healed. We will look at how trauma impacts biological families, particularly their parenting, progression towards goals, and decision making. We will explore how to grow our compassion for these mommas and daddies and tips on how to help facilitate connections that lead towards healing.

The Pro-life Movement is Family Preservation - in Island Ballroom
Morgan Trainer
Most abortion-minded women cite a lack of support and community as the primary reason they chose not to parent. Prayer Focus - in Island Ballroom

Prayer and praise are the oars by which a man may row his boat into the deep waters of the knowledge of Christ. ~ Charles Spurgeon
As we get busy in life and work and ministry, prayer is a spiritual discipline that often gets relegated to last resorts or panic situations. When in fact nothing should be more necessary in our lives than the discipline of prayer to ground us personally and to be the mainsail which moves our ministries.
Objectives:
- Create a prayer schedule
- Elevate it through scripture
- Form a prayer team
Learn how to live out the idea: prayer is not a substitute for action, but an action for which there is no substitute.

Asking Families, "Do you want to get well" - in Island Ballroom
Jeff Chaisson
Inviting a parent who is deeply struggling to embrace the idea of “Getting Well” can evoke a range of emotions—excitement, fear, overwhelm, or even a sense of impossibility. Before we extend that invitation, it’s essential to first assess our own spiritual walk in discipleship. We must not only understand what it means to invite someone into wellness, but also how we can partner with the Holy Spirit to guide families on this journey toward healing and wholeness.
This workshop is designed to equip those working with biological families, foster parents, relative caregivers, and non-relative guardians with practical “best practices” for preparing, conducting, and following up on meetings with families in crisis. It also serves ministry and organizational leaders who are passionate about fostering a discipleship culture while serving the "least of these." You'll learn effective strategies to lead with empathy, spiritual wisdom, and a heart for transformation.
